Blue Zones are regarded as areas that have the highest number of centenarians — people living the longest and healthiest. They are known for their biodiversity, high levels of oxygen, healthy food, and strong sense of community with purpose.
At Reunion, we believe that the land we steward is unique and resonates with positive, transformational energy. For many, this environment induces a sense of serenity, safety and nourishment. We share 35 acres of tropical forest with monkeys, motmots, iguanas, tree sloths, and a bevy of other indigenous fauna.
The sights, sounds, and smells of this tropical ocean-side sanctuary wash over you like a soothing balm of tranquility. Whether spending time fireside, swimming in the ocean, or exploring the forest, you will feel cradled by nature.
The Blue Zones
For more than a decade, author Dan Buettner has been working to identify hot spots of longevity around the world. With the help of the National Geographic Society, Buettner set out to locate places that not only had high concentrations of individuals over 100 years old, but also clusters of people who had grown old without problems like heart disease, obesity, cancer, or diabetes.

Your 300 sq. ft room features two Queen-sized beds, a porch with outdoor seating, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Designed to harmonize with their surroundings, Reunion rooms feature natural wood furnishings, cotton linens, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and an earthy color palette intended to bring the outdoors in.
